So. Much. To. Write. About. No. Time!
Long story short:
Cleaning.
Nicholas is allergic to… something. All the skin on his hands and feet is peeling off and he’s leathery. Not pretty on a two-year-old (or anyone for that matter).
Lots of family in town.
Nicholas’ legs and feet are cockamaimy. Chiropractor. New shoes with custom orthodics! Allergy testing! Third mortgage?
Big party! Lots of fun, went well, pictures are up over on Mike’s blog.
Ahhh, lunch with Mike and no kids. I could get used to this.
TYPING. A LOT OF TYPING today to help out the mom.
And here we are. All caught up! I wish I had more time to write anymore but the days are flying by faster than ever. And it is hard to type with only one hand while nursing.
We did actually sit down to watch a movie last night because we could start it while the young man was still awake. We watched “The World’s Fastest Indian” which was wayyyyyyy better than I thought it would be. Actually I thought it was great, even though it was about motorcycles.
Oh, and you may wonder about the title of this post, which refers to my nearly three-month-old crabbutt baby. She’s in one of those lovely developmental leaps and is not her usual smiley self. I’ve found that the biggest blessing of no longer being a first time mom is that now I know this too shall pass.
