Yum.

Last night the hubby and I got out for a little romantic dinner sans screaming monkeys for a while. We went to the Broadmoor Bistro which is a new restaurant over at the Broadmoor Technical Center, run by my illustrious step-father, Chef Bob Brassard. It is a beautiful restaurant and the food… oh my, the food is wonderful. I highly recommend it. You will enjoy a gourmet four course meal that includes things like fried morel mushrooms over a peppery goat cheese and arugula salad, butternut risotto with creamed leeks (I had no idea that would be so tasty!), and raspberry chocolate mousse that will make you want to cry a little when your husband commandeers it. I only have one thing that I should mention… You may want to go with three other people so you get a table to yourselves. We ended up sitting with another couple and let’s just say it was not the intimate romantic dinner for two we were hoping for. But we did enjoy ourselves very much and the meal was amazing. Plus, two hours of child-free bliss? Awesome.
