“It was fantastic!”

That is a direct quote from Mike, just now, which is really saying something. Yesterday he took half the day off work so we could take Nick to see Monsters vs. Aliens in 3-D at the IMAX… AND IT WAS SUPER DELUXE AMAZINGLY AWESOMELY FANTASTIC! Ahem.

This movie was made for the 3-D but it was so much more than that. The story was great and it was actually hilarious! Nick sat through most of it which I thought was huge considering that for his very first theater experience we took him to a 3-D IMAX movie. Overwhelming much? He got a little scared toward the end but kept it together by holding hands with me and his daddy. We also kept him plenty busy with a large bag of popcorn. Kid can put it away. He is definitely my son.

Monsters vs. Aliens in 3-D at the IMAX!

I highly recommend you all go out right now and see this movie. I can’t wait to see it again! Probably won’t be as SUPER DELUXE AMAZINGLY AWESOMELY FANTASTIC next time but I bet still pretty fun.

We’re all going to diiiiiiiiiiiie! (Spoiler: We didn’t.)

It was what everyone was talking about. Every time I heard the news it was 8 inches, 12 inches, snowed in for weeks! It was all over every news broadcast. I avoided the grocery store like the plague. Then Saturday came and the dreaded Apocalyptic snowstorm hit our fair city:

No! It's the snowstorm of the apocalypse!

But it sure is purty. And it sure was purty!

Yeah, we got some snow. Today I took the kids for a nice walk through the ‘hood — sun shining, birds singing, snow melting. It was lovely. Hello Spring! You can’t keep a good season down!

And in the spirit of Spring my mom got her hair cut, and it made her a little feisty.

That's my mom! She's feisty!

What better way to showcase our lovely new gloves than by grabbing my boobs? Now there’s a picture for Grandma’s srapbook, or future blackmail material, whatever. See? Feisty!

Well I guess this is the first edition of Zo-isms. Sooner than I would have thought!

The childrens have been difficult lately to say the least, and also have become accident-prone which is fun. About 30% of all the words I’ve been hearing today have been “Boo-boo! Ow, KISS! KISS!” Kinda sweet actually for the first twelve times I heard it then it started to get a little old. The other 70% of what I’ve been hearing is “Want de-dee (cookie) NOW!” The emphasis on the NOW is what really makes it. That’s a new development, thank you Terrible Twos.

There are no words.

Nick is running around the house with my bra on his head yelling, “I AM THE ONE-EYED MONSTER!”

I needed that.

Lately things around here have been kinda depressing, sorry about that. I haven’t had a whole lot of hilarity lately until I opened an email from my aunt tonight, and found some things that I want to share with you. I wish I knew who to credit for these because they are brilliant. I’ll start you off light and work you up to the last one, the one that had Mike and I laughing so hysterically that we almost woke up the children.

Ha!

Ha!

Ha!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

I can’t even look at this picture. It reminds me of The Bloggess. Must. stop. giggling.
