My Sister and I by Raven Ghen
My sister and I went flying through the sky
way past all the planets and the stars in her eyes.
I looked to the right and she looked to the left
and I told her which way to open wide.
She gave to me her only soul
and I kept on hearing that soul of hers cry
so I told her not to cry cuz we would always be side by side.
So we flew past the cries and we landed on the moon
the people there had rainbows melting from their eyes.
They sang to me a song from within
a land they say where all life began
and in their hands they carried all the stars in a box without a name.
They rode on moonbeams with magic horses
they saw each other in eachother’s dreams
and said that they were on their way to the sun.
So girl within, I live to let you out
and in return you live to let me in.
So my sister and I go sailing through the nite
in a soul starship just made for two
and I myself have but one request
to keep on flying, baby keep on flying.
